Possible brake problem
I have a 2003 Mitsubishi Fuso truck w/ the FE640 diesel engine. Recently, on very rare occasion, I'm hearing a high pitched squeal from the booster pump (mounted just behind steering column) upon letting off the brake pedal. Local mechanics are generally dismissing it as unimportant because of a long track record of Mitsubishi truck brake dependability. I'm not so sure and wonder if I may have a tiny leak in the booster diaphragm, which may one day lead to castastrophic brake failure. Anybody have any experience with this?
