Question about 35" fittment

I searched and got 1000 topics and none really answered my question.

I have a 2001 4X4 and was wanting to know if I could fit a set of 35" nitto mud grapplers on 20" rims on my truck with no lift? I plan to do a lvl kit sometime or another just not on yet. The reason im asking is i found a good deal on the set of tires/wheels used.

Also has anyone ever ran the mud grapplers? I dont do alot of offroading but do get into some muddy trails/roads and the other day i had to put it in 4x4 just to make it up a grassy hill backing up a trailer and still had a little trouble, i currently have BFG AT which i like alot just not quite enough traction for me.

Thanks

In a word.....no. You'll need at the minimum, level kit & cut fenders w/ Bushwacker flares, OR, 4.5 in kit and wheels with minimum backspacing.

I did a 6.5 kit and 325/65/18s (35x13.50x18) and love the way the truck looks.

you can do it as long as they are no wider than 12.50 tire on a 10 wide rim. You will have to space out the front bumper, do the leveling kit, and trim the inside of the fender

APOLLYON,

When i first bought my 315/75/16's, i put them on w/o lifting the truck, and drove it about 60 miles on the freeway to the lift center. It drove , well OK, couldn't turn sharp and i was very careful. They did rub if you tried to turn too sharp. I wouldn't recommend it personally for any extended period of time.
