Spring Sag Mild Lift Question

I have V code springs up front that are sagging and will be replacing them with new factory springs. I have read that new W code springs will give me a 1" lift over original V code springs.

CaryT has made many posts that seem to confirm this, actually that is where I got the idea so credit goes to him.

My question is, has anyone else tried the W code springs and had the same results?

Also, will the W code springs require a longer track bar?

Thanks Y'all.

You should see 2" over V codes with W codes and 2.2" with X codes, both should be used with a adj track bar and longer shocks. Height changes based on new vrs new.
Options are a 2" hanger kit..still needs all above and a 2" mini spring kit..just needs a adj track bar.

Hey CaryT

While looking for info on the subject I have seen many posts by you and welcome your input.

I really just want to correct the sag and maybe a little extra. You wrote in this post, Leveling kits?, that the increase of 1 inch would be achieved by using W code over V code. can you explain? Would that not be the case on my truck?

Will there be other alignment issues with a 1 or 2 inch lift beside the track bar?

What shock would you recommend on a 1 or 2 inch lift?

Anybody else want in?

Thanks!!!!

Just thought of another question, should most technicions be able to do a proper alignment with a minor lift and an adjustable track bar????
