Suspension Suggestions

Hello, I am new to this forum, but have been browsing the threads for awhile now, and have come to value and agree with a lot of what people have to say. I now have a question of my own. I have a 2006 Ford F-250 Crew Cab SB, 6.0, Lariat w/20"factory wheels. and was wanting to get people's input as far as suspension, wheels, tire suggestions.
I have been pondering a 2.5" leveling kit with new wheels and a set of M/T Mud 35x12.50R20 tires. However, after looking at some of people's nice rides, I am afraid that the 2.5" leveling kit may just be a part time fix for what is a full-time passion to have a 6" lift with 37x12.50R20.
With all that being said, I know that these may seem like complete opposite ends of the spectrum, but I am looking for input on what type of suspension, wheel size, tires (ie.brand,type,etc.), I am pretty much suspension illiterate, will get my ride looking good and stout. Keep in mind I do not want to completely compromise ride quality, but I understand sometimes to gain a little, you have to give a little.
Any help is much appreciated, and sorry for such a long thread!

Best advice I can give..spend the money and get a good lift with a 4 link and at the min Bilstein shocks. "good" kits..Icon, Rize, RCD, Pure Performance.

20" rims, 9-10 wide with correct offset. MT's suck for wet usage so I would look at AT's quiter also!

One option is to get a used 2" kit and try it out for awhile..Icon, RCD or the Bilstein BTS are good kits.

i too have been looking for a while and i am undecided on what to do. keep stock wheels and put toyo or mickey thompsons 35" tires with a 2.5" lift. or go with a 4" with 35" or 6" with 37" tires. i think i am just gonna do a 2.5 icon or something like that with 35" tires. any input would be appreciated and were to find a used pair if anyone has or knows of. sorry dont mean to steal thread.
