Will 285/65/20s fit a stock F250??

Just bought an 08 F250 SD 4WD. Ditched the stock Wrangler AT/S tires for a set of 265/75/20s Bridgestone Dueler AT/Revo 2s. They ride much better, but look really small on the truck......not sure if it is the more conservative sidewall, but the tires look really NARROW on the truck........

So if I take 'em back to Discount Tire, what should I run? Can I upgrade to a 285/65/20 BFG AT on stock suspension (not leveled) without rubbing??? (how will those wear on a large truck, load range E? I've had them on a bunch of Jeeps, and they wore like iron, but my last 3/4 ton Chevy had them in a Load range D and they wore out QUICK! Not sure if from the lighter load range, or what....)

Please let me know ASAP.

Thanks, Ben

Can't offer any fitment info, but I can say the 265/65 is about 1/2" shorter than your stock tire and is narrower (10mm), that is why you are seeing the difference. Discount Tire should have been able to tell you that before you bought them. The 285/65 is about 1/2" taller than your stock tire and 10mm wider.

If you aren't satisfied with them, bring your truck back in and speak with the guys there. They'll work something out for you. The sooner the better though.

My typo, the replacement tires are same size as stock. Talked to Discount, they would take them back but the next size up only offers a BFG A/T which is HUGE money, and from talking to two different sources, the Bridgestone sounds like a better product.......

I'll stick with what I've got, I think
