Wholesaler Closeout Parts

At RockAuto.com, "Wholesaler Closeout parts" means inventory purchased from competing stores, car manufacturers, etc. Maybe the competing store is going out of business or maybe they decided there is no longer a big market for those parts in their geographic region.

Prices for Wholesaler Closeout parts are usually at least 30% less than RockAuto's regular, low priced inventory. Rare or hard to find closeout parts also have low prices. Closeout parts did not come directly from the part manufacturer and so are covered by a 30 day warranty rather than regular manufacturer warranties.

RockAuto regularly has new Wholesaler Closeout parts to offer but quantities are always limited. If you want to be one of the first to know when new Wholesaler Closeout parts are offered for your vehicle, then click on the RSS button next to your vehicle in the RockAuto catalog.

On the next page choose your RSS reader or choose to receive emailed announcements.

Wholesaler Closeout parts can always also be found just by shopping the RockAuto.com catalog. Just look for parts labeled "Wholesaler Closeout" or parts with a "Choose:" box where you can choose between closeouts and regular inventory.

It would be really nice if you guys could consolidate your shipping charges. I put in a good sized order that was shipped from several different locations. The shipping charges were very high because I was charged for each different location separately. I think Rock Auto should transport their products in bulk from suppliers and ship retail orders from one place.I would order much more often if the shipping wasn't so expensive. Thanks

Hello,

Thank you for your comments. We do our best to try and get the parts from as few locations as possible. As customers add parts to their shopping carts, RockAuto’s computers work feverishly crunching RockAuto inventory numbers, FedEx data, time zone changes, etc. to choose the ideal shipping locations. The more parts that can go in one box, the lower the shipping costs.

Some customers like to help manage their own shipping costs by choosing part brands and/or part numbers that can ship from the fewest number of locations. The new truck icons in the RockAuto.com catalog make this easier to do. A truck icon next to a part in the catalog indicates the part can ship from the same location as parts already in the shopping cart.

I hope this helps!

Thanks I didn't know about the truck icon. I will try it next order. Rock auto does have unbelievable deals on closeout parts and I have been very satisfied with what I bought. Thanks for answering
