08 Excursion? - Diesel Forum

Just curious, does anyone know if Ford is coming out with an 08 bodystyle Excursion??

Or even a '07 or '06..... Production ended in the fall of '05.

I have to admit, I've seen a few new Expeditions that really look. They look a lot like an updated Ex/SD from the front.

Yeah, mine has a build date of 09/05 and I think it is one of the last. Based on what I have read, it isn't a direct bolt on for the front end of an '08, either.

I wouldn't look for it back anytime soon. Craig.

If it does ever come back, and not any time soon.
(They will wait for the demand to build)

I would look for it under a different name removing it from the SUV line up, more related to the SD line.

All Ford can offer in '08 is the extended version of the Expedition. Nice vehicle, but it's no Ex. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

Awesome thanks for the input. I didnt realize they were canned after 05. So much for the staple of overbuilt rediculous American SUVs.
