4 Link Suspension For The Excursion
Hello everyone,
I love my excursion. I have had alot of stuff going on at work, they said they were laying us off, and now they say they are staying open. I was going to sell the X, and now I am hoping to keep it. My wife drives our 2000 suburban, and when we go places, the kids always ask to drive in the "big truck". They love it too, ages 5, twin boys 3, and a 1 year old. Anyways, I really want to improve the supension. I am running 33's on a 4 inch lift currently. I want to install a 4 link front and rear and get rid of the leaf springs. My question is, has anyone here done this. Fabtech has kits, but I would piece one together if somebody had some ideas. It just seems the 4 link offers superior control and a better ride too I would imagine. I would probably go up to 35's, but I am not sure. Thanks in advance.
