Looks great. Where did you purchase it from? And did you install it or have someone else do it? If someone else did it how much did they charge and how long was your truck in the shop for?
As you can probably tell I have an Ex i'd like to lift.
Sorry it took so long to reply, had problems signing in. The kit was installed by 4 Wheel Parts, took them 2 days (I have done plenty of lift kits myself and decided to let someone else have the fun this time...nice). The total including install was @ $1600.00 (the kit alone is @ $1100.00), this is with the 4 side steps, too. Yeah, and I do like the looks of it, also I can now get under the X and change my oil (sat too low before and I did not want to lose any weight to do it). Later.
Are you still running (2 months later) the original tire/wheel package. I may go to the 35's as suggested, but I would like to get more miles out of the current set?
Did you block the rear end or use the add a leaf? They tell me the add a leaf will stiffen the ride (OK to an extent), reduce the sag (need this) and lessen the need to beef up the rear sway bar.

I'll answer for him since I don't think he watches this forum except when he wants to know something.
1. He was running the stock 265's. And yes it looked funny. He was planning on going with 295/75s like I have on mine. I don't remember if he got them yet or not. On stock 265s, his 2WD w/6" lift was about 1 1/2" higher than mine on 295s with stock springs (I think they are Superduty springs though, not stock Ex).
2. I think he went with the add-a-leaf. It does stiffen the ride, but not as much as with lighter vehicles. I'm not a fan of add-a-leaves, but on the Ex they aren't too bad.
TheCraftsman - How has your Edge performed? 4 Wheel Parts says it is far better than just adding gauges because of the defueling features and auto truck off after the EGT is down. Has it caused you any warranty issues?
Thank you for the info. I did not realize this was my 1st post, as I have fixed a few bugs off of this site.

Mine doesn't have any of that nifty stuff like the shut down etc. Mine is the Edze EZ. Its basically just the 10k mod that you can find on this site if you do a search. The truck runs pretty good with it on there, but if I really get on it, it sets of the SES light every time (very annoying). And the throttle is quite touchy off idle. Riding down my street, its a challenge not to give the passengers whiplash as my street is quite bumpy and my foot tends to bounce a little.
As soon as I can find some funny money I'll be ditching the Edge EZ in favor of an SCT Xcalibrator with a couple of DP Tuner tunes on it.
Which of your pics is with the 295's installed? This is one option I am look at. Specs say the 295 should not go on these rims though.

Good look, any wear issues with these? I do not have a lead foot, just tow a lot.
Costco will not put them on my truck for liability reasons, 4 Wheel Parts will for $800.
From Discount I can go with 20X9 rims and Nitto Terra Grapplers for $2000.

Well, I don't know how many miles the BFG AT K/Os have on them because they were on the truck when I bought it and haven't been able to contact the PO. The truck has 76k on it now, so assuming the PO replaced the stock tires at 40k, then I'll probably only have about 40k on them when I replace them (they're getting close now). Obviously this is pure speculation. He could have put them on at 10k for all I know. He was a "moder" and did make some changes to the truck so he may have ditched the stock tires early. I don't know.
But since I've had them, they seem to be wearing fine. I don't tow much but I have towed up to about 8-9k with them and they're very stable. Road noise is very low. Wet traction is great for the most part. Haven't really gone off-road per se, but I've honestly never liked the BFG ATs off road anyway. I'm going to be replacing them with my X-mas bonus this year. I was thinking of giving the REVOs a try since they come so highly recommended on this list. But they don't come in 295s. My wife likes the 295s so I'll probably grab another set of the K/Os.
