I know there are some real issues here, but a bunch of flaming e-mails from us will only end the dialogue or move it to an unconstructive level. I am in need of real emmissions information on the PSD so I can make a case for the diesel. Thanks.

Unfortunately, FACTUAL data means nothing to them, especially if it conflicts with their agenda. Look at the ozone layer lies that are STILL perpetuated contrary to all factual evidence of how ozone is created, destroyed, etc.
Tom Clancy's "Rainbow Six" novel gave a chilling insight to the minds of these people...and even though his book is fiction, I have no doubt that he accurately exposed their ultimate goal. The end of his book was great!
Don't forget, you are dealing with secular religious beliefs with these people...so facts don't factor (pun intended).
Shamuex2000 Ford does not badge the X with PSD labels. The only way you can tell it is a diesel is if you look at the size of the tail pipe. You can order badges from the dealer and put them on though. I did. [img]images/icons/laugh.gif[/img]

Other than the possible destruction or vandalism of private property with this bumper sticker effort, certainly your actions and intentions are commendable. But don't you all think that more of a difference could be made if you perhaps: worked with lawmakers to phase out diesel engines; or get mandated emission controls on lawnmowers; or get home builders to stop putting fireplaces in new homes; or get tax breaks to those who buy hybrids or produce fuel cells; or create incentives to get 20+ year old vehicles off the roads? New SUVs are NOTHING compared to old cars regarding emissions. You all appear educated and creative but this just looks as though there are other motives than a concern for the environment.

Sorry But these people make me nuts I want the Diesel truck for its efficency on the job that I want it to do PS Mr Green save the earth. I will use less resources than you will with your little 4cyl gas miser Gas Vs Diesel Towing is 50 to 75% more efficent than Gas Based on what I have seen in the Diesel Websites. Even the Jetta TDI 50 Mpg Vs honda Accord 35Mpg 20cents less a gallon and 50% greater fuel Economy that seems like I am doing my part to conserve resources and keep the planet Green. A few months ago I had a teenager pull out in front of my truck with a old toyota tercel and those damn "green peace" stickers all over the back, I blew my air horn and damn near road over her. At the next light she proceeded to write down my tag number and said that I will get mine one day soon, you gas hog!!!
Well, sure enough 2 days later around 3:00 am my infrared camera's and alarm turn on an there were 2 kids outside around my X. I grabbed my 50 cal. dessert eagle with laser sight and went outside to scare the $h!t out of these kids. It worked once they saw that laser in the dark of night I held them until the sheriffs arrived.
