??? about lift for x

looking for info: wanting 36 inch tires without rubbing all spring lift, do not want to lift any more than I would have to. however after talking with all of the major lift companies I do not feel confident with their answers about spring sagg under the weight of the x and the diesel.National spring was the only one that asked about the weight and admitted that their was a problem with this issue.IS national worth the xtra money over the rest Has anyone used rcd suspension kit. I hope that this isnt to many questions at once but I hope this keeps me from making a big mistake that I have to pay for later. thanks

Re: ??? about lift for x

because my son has a f350 and 36 dick cepcks with 6 inch skyjacker I know this will work as he has no rubbing with that truck. Did space the front bumper out 1 inch and cut very little of the air dam outside edges...

Re: ??? about lift for x

I use to have a 6" lifted X with Pro Comp Springs. I ran fat 36's and skinny 37's with no problems. The springs (1.5 years later & after 17000 miles) only sagged 1/4". I even ran a 300 lb Ranch hand on the nose for about 9 months.

Re: ??? about lift for x

Same here, I've run Pro-Comp springs for 2 years with 37s with no problem on my own X. Have use others on customer verhicles. Fabtech's springs are nice too. Skyjackers are a bit stiff and I have had some sag. National Springs would be best though. For the best price-is-no-object kit go with an Extreme Toys (ORU) kit. They use Natl. springs which relocate the front axle futher forward. Relocates the track bar aswell. Requires moving the front bumper out a couple of inches but they finish it off with some caps which follow the wheelwell radius. First class.
