I am not an expert in tires and wheels but have changes many in my life so my question is this. When I rotated my tires I noticed the lugnuts were not an acorn type lugnut which centers the rim on the lugs but was just a lugnut with a flat surface that makes contact and tightens to the rim. How does this center the rim since the holes on the rim are bigger than the lugs themselves. Is this the norm ? [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif[/img]
There is a lot of post on this in the "General Question" forums. I believe it is called hub centric. The rim lines up with the hub and the lug nuts hold the rim tight to the hub.
