Aftermarket Dash Gauges?

Anybody know of any aftermarket gauge screens which are nicer looking than the factory black? Maybe carbon fiber look or white like the Dodge 300M? Seems like a simple swap of something nice is available. These trucks are too nice to have such a utilitarian gauge package.

Overkillphil:

Yes. There are whiteface gauge inserts for the Superduty. There are members here who have them, and even have pictures of them installed on their Photopoint albums.

I don't remember who they are, but a search of this site for whitefaced guages will no doubt lead you to them. Also, try some of the FD.com advertisers, like Diesel Injection Service or SuperDuty Headquarters.

Re: Aftermarket Dash Gauges?

OverkillPhil,

I wish Ford would stop being so cheap and put in REAL gauges instead of the idiot gauges. That is the part of Ford Cars/Trucks that I hate the most.

I love the gauge set in my Vette. Easy to read and gives real time information.

Does anyone know how to make Vette gauges work in a X …… Oh, never mind.
