AIC Mounted in Glovebox?

Just purchased a Ford Auxillary Idle Controller on eBay and now I'm thinking about possible mounting locations inside my Excursion. I seem to remember someone previously posting pics showing how they mounted an AIC in their glovebox. Anyone ever heard of this, or remember the original post? I did a search, but I could not locate.

Re: AIC Mounted in Glovebox?

I have seen the factory mounts and the relocation bracket that is made. I have never heard one that has been mounted in the glove box.

Re: AIC Mounted in Glovebox?

I seem to remember someone saying they had stuck it behind the trash bag hook.

I have mine velcroed to the tranny hump at the top of the carpet and it works great for me, out of the way yet fully accesable.
