Airbag / Front Spring Question

I know there are tons of spring threads around, but I can't seem to locate an answer to this question.

If I place airbags in the rear, what would be the best front spring choice?

Or, is there a better combination or solution?

The Ex is stock with only the addition of a rear sway bar, running stock tires. I mainly use the Ex for towing and family trips.

Thanks for the help and sorry for another spring realted question.

Re: Airbag / Front Spring Question

Do you want to raise the front? If not just add the Air bags for towing. You really do not use want to use the rear air bags as a "lift kit". I had V codes on the front of my wife Ex and then it would sag in the rear compared to the lifted front when I would tow so I added the air bags to solve that.

Re: Airbag / Front Spring Question

Why not use the bags as a way to lift the rear? I have the V codes on the front, and a Bruce inspired bag system on the back and I love it. Sometimes I run the rear a little high, other times level.

Re: Airbag / Front Spring Question

I have "X" code front springs with F-350 rear blocks, Firestone Air Bags on the rear, and Edlebrock shocks. This provides a level ride with minimum air and about a 3 inch lift. I also have Helweg sway bars, (front & rear), and 285 tires. This set up pulls trailers very well.

I've grossed 19,500 with this set up and had no control issues, even when traveling slightly above the posted speed limit.
