Anybody lowered their X?

Don't want to drop it very much, maybe 1" to 2". Mine's a 2WD by the way.
Thanks
FS

Re: Anybody lowered their X?

Had a bud that got an 01 4x2 and lowered his and put 20's on it and the superchips tuner....

once he added from and rear sway bars that thing handled better than my sports car !!!

He SAID he did it so his three little daughters could get in and out easily... I said RIGHT !?!?

Re: Anybody lowered their X?

How much did he lower it, and how? The only kit I found so far drops it 3". I'm still wrestling with whether that's too much or not.
Also, what wheels and tires did he use. Were the tires still "E" tires? It still needs to tow the racer.

Thanks
FS

Re: Anybody lowered their X?

Been a while...
let me touch base with him....
I THINK he went with High load D rated tires...
they actually had a higher load per tire than the E rated he had...
he had a 4 wheel trailer so his tongue weight was relatively low...
