Can someone help me with instruction on how to modify the B-code springs for my excursion? I just purchased new springs from Ford. They have 2 riveted metal bands around the leaves and i'm wondering if I have to remove the bands to add the two leaves from the old spring packs.
A link on how this is all done would be best but any help is appreciated.

Take the two shortest leaves from each of the Excursion spring packs and add them to the B code spring packs between the shortest leaf and the overload leaf. The centering bolt from the Excursion spring pack should be long enough to hold the modified B code spring packs together. Discard the Excursion anti-wrap leaf and put it all back together using the Excursion spring block. Pretty easy swap and the ride is noticeably better.
Ok am I the only one that comes up with you dont have permissions to view the how to on this? I just did an Fcode swap and think about pulling them back off and adding the leafs but want to see what needs to be done before I do it.
