Bad Fuel??

I'm new to the PSD, but am curious what the signs are of getting bad fuel. I went to a rather reputable station that handles a lot of truckers.
Anyways, when I'm slowly accelerating it seems to sputter. At hard acceleration and cruising it seems fine, but only when I'm gradually accelerating do I notice it.
I got it from the dealer with 350 miles, and it has about 800 now, so I've gone through about 1 1/4 tanks of fuel.
Any advice?

Thanks!

Re: Bad Fuel??

I got my first tank of obviously bad fuel in Tennessee last week.

The truck ran fine, but it was noticeably louder. Had more clatter and injector noise when I was accelerating at lower RPMs.

Supposedly cetane booster will help the problem. Lots of people reccomend Stanadyne cetane booster.

When I filled up again, the engine was back to its normal "quiet" self.
