Bilstein Steering Stabilizer?

I will be looking to upgrade my steering stabilizer and shocks in the next few weeks. I am leaning towards the Bilstein shocks after reading many post on this forum. I would like all of my shocks and steering stabilizer to match. Does Bilstein offer a stabilizer and boot??? If so, is it high quality. If not, does the Pro Comp match the Bilsteins at all?? I am picky and would like all to match. Also, I don't mind blue & green on my white X...I tow a white boat with a solid blue stripe so it would match nicely! Please help.

Re: Bilstein Steering Stabilizer?

I don't think they put one out yet they didn't a year ago,but I have the Rancho specifically made for the X and it works great and holding up well.

Re: Bilstein Steering Stabilizer?

I've got the ProComp ES2000 and it's also a great performer. Different color boots are available as well.

Check with 4WheelParts.com for the ES2000.

Re: Bilstein Steering Stabilizer?

Wouldn't a set of duals be abit overkill for little 285's?

Re: Bilstein Steering Stabilizer?

What do the Pro Comp. shocks look like? What color? Comparison to Bilsteins? Price difference, etc. I really want all of my shocks and boots to match my steering stabilizer and boot! I don't like mixing and matching... I'm anal retentive I know !!

Re: Bilstein Steering Stabilizer?

You would definitely like the PROCOMP they are white w/ blue trim. Ranchos are white w/ red writing. You can get both at www.summitracing.com .

Re: Bilstein Steering Stabilizer?

You can buy a single ProComp ES2000 from 4 wheel parts, http://4wheelparts.com, and they will send you the boot color of your choice. You can then repaint the steering stabilizer shock to the color you want. I used to have a black '79 Bronco. Everything was black, interior, exterior, wheels, grill and bumpers. I sand blasted my rancho shocks and steering stabilizer, then had a friend professionaly paint them gray, then I put black booties on them. I have a black & 3 shades of gray boat that I used to tow with my Bronco. Everything had to match so I know where you are coming from.

Good luck!!
