Broke Park Turn Signal Lense on 2004 Ford PSD Excursion Help!

I managed to crack and splinter the parking light, turn signal lense on the drivers door of my 04 Excursion today going into the garage. These are the trailer tow mirrors that manually flip either direction and manually extend. They are powered and heated.

I'm hoping I can just replace the broken red/amber lenses without doing the whole mirror. If so can anyone provide a link to the procedure and a decent parts source. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

David

I'm surprised I haven't broken either of mine too. I've backed out of the garage and caught it on the door jam a few times.

I think you can buy just the lens. I've always had good luck with www.1stfordparts.com. It's a dealer in Washington state but ship fast and prices are very good usually.

You need the get the whole mirror cover not the complete mirror. If the mirrors are painted or chrome and the cover is not damaged just get the cheaper textured cover and swap the lights out.

Thanks all for the assistance. Glad to hear the whole mirror does not need replaced. They are the black textured mirrors to hopefully cost will be lower.

FamilyRide...Thanks for the info. I received the part promptly from 1stfordparts and installed it on Tuesday. Piece of cake. I still can't believe that piece of plastic cost $85.00...::::
