I've got a full set of Catch-All mats in my X. They're really great, but the mat in the 2nd row won't stay put. Any bright ideas on how to anchor it in place?

Love my Catch All, so much that I bought a fairly inexpensive set of HEAVY tan rubber mats at Walmart to protect them! I started out just buying one for the drivers side, diesel and kitty litter at the truck stops! But at $8.00 for front and $4.00 for these 12"x12" for the back two rows it was cheap. Being as how they are kind of heavy I have not had any problems with them sliding. They have them in black, gray, and tan.
I have fought with the same problem in a Windstar and Expedition. The trick is non-skid material. What is non-skid material. You can find it at Home Depot, Walmart, etc. in the glassware dept. It is rubberized mesh that some people line their cabinets with to put glassware on or I have always lined my tool chest with it. Carpet stores sell it to put under throw rugs so people don't slip. Sear's tool dept is another source but they tend to charge more $'s for same thing. Cut to size, put it under the mats, and they'll stay. The hard someone pushes on it the more it grips both surfaces. I even got some in a tan color and cut a small piece for my center console lid. The cell phone and note pad will not slide off. It has hundreds of uses. Line the anything and things don't move and don't raddle. Good luck....

My Ford "catch all" mud mats don't move at all. They have lots of little spikes on back side to keep them in place. Cub Scouts in and out every other weekend and they stay in place. They also have a great cargo liner which has saved my rear carpet several times.
TMG: Now that is the bright idea I was looking for. I'll get some of that non-skid material. Thanks.
garyGA: You know it's love when you buy floor mats to protect your floor mats.
cliebold: Only the driver's side has that hook and grommet anchor. The others just have spikey plastic bottoms.
Sail684: I've also got that mat for the area behind the 3rd row seats. Since I bought it through Ford, it has EXCURSION embroidered into it, which looks great. (the driver's and front passenger mats also say EXCURSION.)
