Cell Phone location

Has anyone mounted a cell phone in there beast? I have a pice of velcro on my dash between the radio and the A/C vent. It works ok....but would like something a little more customized...professional looking.

Re: Cell Phone location

I have a Qualcom 860. I have the hands free/VR kit from Qualcom and it is mounted using the Pro Fit mount. http://www.pro-fit-intl.com/. I think some pics have been posted in other threads... try doing a search in upgrades and aftermarket.

Re: Cell Phone location

SO you have to buy the bracket...then buy an actual holder that fits the phone and mounts to the bracket? Does it look good? I saw some pics with a Nokia phone but none with the qualcom.

Re: Cell Phone location

I believe Pro-Fit has two types of mounts/brackets. A universal (passive) mount. Meaning, it just holds the phone and it is not hard wired. (Believe that is what is shown on the home page) And a bracket that can be used in conjunction with specific phone kits that is hardwired for hands free use. I like the way mine looks/functions.
