Code P1211 with SCMT 1705?

When I run hard for a couple of hours (85 on interstate) towing the trailer I get the SES light, SCMT says its P1211 (ICP Not Controllable - Pres Above/Below Desired). I am runing the 60HP program otherwise stock.

So can anyone translate that error into english? And what should I do about it. BTW, General a day of normal driving and the light goes back out.

Thanks

Mine does the same thing. I asked here about it and it seems to be the normal thing the SCMT does. You can check out the answers I got in this POST

Yep that is your injector control pressure being + or - the factory setting, and that is one thing the SCMT (or any tuner or chip) does is raise your fuel pressure

Thanks guys! But your were suppose to give me highly technical reasons why I was suppose to upgrade the exhaust etc. so I could show the wife its not just to put a grin on my face.

Glad to know the code isn't anything major.

The code is caused by a restriction created by the muffler bearings. Also the inner surface of the stock exhaust system has small imperfections that are also creating excess turbo lag. You must immediately upgrade the exhaust system and install a larger downpipe to avoid damage.

Re: Code P1211 with SCMT 1705?

Yes all of the above, Plus the increase in friction and restriction combined with the heat caused by a restictive intake could be a FIRE HAZARD, For you family's sake you really need to change them, that is IF you love them
