Cost of Mud Flaps

My dealer quoted a price of $129 installed for front and rear excursion limited mud flaps. Does the price sound reasonable?

Re: Cost of Mud Flaps

The price sounds pretty good.... If I remember correctly my part dealer quoted me $59.00 per pair, not installed. did not order them yet, his computer said they were only available in "White" for the limited. Please post the part #'s if available in other then white.

Thanks,

Re: Cost of Mud Flaps

The mudflaps themselves list I think for $33. per pair. That was the list on the invoice I got. I know the parts manager so I got them for $30. The parts #s are listed in the other "mudflaps" topic down the page a ways. It took me about 25-30 minutes to put mine on, all you need is a screwdriver, drill-n-bits, and a little patience. The rear ones state in the instructions to remove the rear wheels, but it can be done w/o. All the order books are stating the flaps are white, but just go by the #'s I posted on the other page. They're black, look great, and keep a lot of the junk off the running boards. They only fit Limiteds, though. Good luck.

Re: Cost of Mud Flaps

Thanks for the data. The second dealer I visited also quoted $33 for each pair, but wouldn't quote an installation price...just that it would take an hour or two. That was too opened ended for me. I'll go with my dealer or try it myself. Since I have two left hands, it might be better to have some one else do it.):

Re: Cost of Mud Flaps

I just got a set of front & rear black Husky mudflaps for my PSD DRW pickup which I'll put on this weekend. If I like them on the truck I'll order a set for the Excursion. They are black and about $90 including shipping (that's for DRW). The material look like they match the running boards.

Re: Cost of Mud Flaps

Only bad news. Husky only have the front flaps for XLT Excursions and not Limited's.

The Limited's will only be available in July. You have to ask why!
