I thought I was going to install my gauges over the weekend. I finally got the tranny temp gauge (good job DIS, they told me they would not receive them until the 25th, arrived at my door the 27th. I love it when you do not have to follow-up to get things). I should have checked out the paint situation earlier. I called every dealer in Central Texas and not one had it in stock. I could not justify spending $35 to have it mixed at a paint shop, so I ordered it. The said it will take about 2 weeks. Good thing it was a nice weekend for the lake!
Actually it wasn't a total waste. While I was at the dealer I saw these hats with the Ford Emblem and Power Stroke Diesel on them. Couldn't resist so I got one (with the standard Dealer mark-up to $19). At least it's close to Estate Green in color
