Dashmat installation

Purchased a dashmat and they included 3 small strips of sticky velcro(which is not nearly enough) . To lay the mat down smoothly over the defroster vents, all the compound curves and have the well areas set flat, purchase a roll of the sticky velcro (mine was about $7 at a fabric store) and use plenty of it to make that mat behave and lay down with no bumps or raised area.

Re: Dashmat installation

Where did you get the dash mat (in parchment)? Cost too, please.

Re: Dashmat installation

Got the dashmat @ "Kragen" auto supply which is a mid-sized auto supply store in the SF Bay area (like a pep boys or Grand auto), cost $30 and took about a week to get. I got the mat in "taupe" and if I had to do it again I would get a darker brown. They let you take the "sample" mats out to the "X" and check put what color you like.
