Here ya go. A couple of good ones. Pricy, but, like the sign said in the speedshop I frequented when I was a lad:

"SPEED COSTS. HOW FAST CAN YOUR WALLET GO?"

Re: Deep tranny pan for the X?

New update.

The ones above will not fit. They interfere with the exhaust downtube. Check this thread: http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=458368

This one fits. It is stamped steel like the original, is deep pan, and has cooling air tubes running through it.

Available from Summit Racing for the wonderful price of $78.50

[/ QUOTE ] A transmission pan that larger will not cool the transmission, it will just take it a little longer to get up to the same temp you were running before.
I would suggest a cooler from a 6.0 or one off a V10. Both of these coolers are larger than what you are running at this time.
I also don't think the Mag-Hytec pan will fit on the Excursions due to cross member interference. I have heard the PML ones will work.

While Mark Craig might disagree, I agree with you and so does my tranny guy

Also if you heat up that much more fluid it will take that much longer to get it back down to temp and if you have the OTW cooler in the radiator any "warming" in cold weather will take just that much longer.
