I just filled up today at a Mobil station on highway 22 in Somerville NJ. It was $1.299 for diesel (credit/full service)and $1.399 for the cheapest gas at that station. It looks like the PSD option over the v10 is starting to pay off.
the prices are starting to drop...right now it's about 7 cents more than premium gas. Even if its more expensive, you make up the cost in mileage. My wifes benz gets nearly 40 miles per gallon on mainly highway miles.
The Citgo stations in my neighborhood haven't come below $1.70. I can go to a Citgo station 8 miles up the road in either direction and pay $1.55 - go figure. Clark is also going for $1.55. I've sworn off using Mobil or Marathon diesel fuel even if it was free.
BTW - I'm in the NW burbs of Chicago and hoping to see $1.19/gal here soon!

The diesel prices are very flexible around here. I've paid $1.42 @ I55/Weber to $1.21 @ I80-94/Grant St. in Indiana. However, it's still $1.71 in Darien.
Don't know why such a difference but while close to Ind. I fill up often.
In the Minneapolis area, prices are in the mid to upper 1.30's. A little further north and they are in the 1.40 range. Hopefullyt he prices continue to drop and the weather gets warmer...better mileage and less fuel costs...sounds great to me.
Prices are $1.49 in the Atlanta area.
Just north on I85 at the truck stops it
is $1.19 to $1.21 . It is $1.14 cash price
at the FlyingJ.

It was $ 1.34 a gallon at the TA truck stop on I65 & SR 334 today. About $ .08 cheaper a gallon than unleaded

Last week the price was $1.19 at exit 35 on I-85 in South Carolina, today it was $1.21, looks like it might be heading up again, but is still better then it was a month ago.

Well it is going up.
Flyingj is up to $1.179 and the TA is at
$1.199 and the Speedway truck stop at
I85 exit 129 is at $1.219. It looks like
they are getting ready for the summer drivers.

All prices are along I85 north of Atlanta

Diesel prices have dropped to 1.45 gal and may drop another nickel or so in the next two weeks.
Rack price for No. 2 has dropped to .85/gal. My oil sources tell me it will drop another .05 cents and then is likely to go up again as the latest OPEC production cut works it way throught the market. The one factor that may defeat OPEC induced price increases is the slowing economy which may reduce oil demand further.
I normally try to time bulk oil purchases for mid summer when prices are lowest. However, I have tentatively scheduled a delivery in 2 weeks because I think there is a fair liklihood the prices in mid-April will be the lowest we will see for the next 12 months or so. If the economy tanks, obviously prices will move much lower, but I am the optomistic sort.
In Centrol Oregon (Bend) prices are in the $1.41-$1.56 range. but don't expect any real lasting drop soon. Summer's coming plus Mexico is choking us off, following Opec. But its still cheaper than 97 oct. reg. The powers that be wants to keep crude at $27+ a barrel.
Ranges anywhere from $1.45 to $1.25 here in Austin with the stations being a couple miles apart. Chevrom at the high end Shell and Conoco at the low end.
