Different kind of chip

I just noticed a small 1/4x2" pc board with chip in center sealed in a plastic bag shaped like a bomb hanging from the dipstick tube. Dealer knows nothing about it. No ID on plastic. Any ideas??

Re: Different kind of chip

I have the same thing on my Excursion. I took it off and kept it in case it is important but I don't have a clue what it is for!
