Do the 03 trailer Tow Mirrors have the signals in them/

I know the super duties have the signals in the mirrors now. But the excuriosn my wife is in the process of purchasing doesn't have the signals on the mirror. I swore I saw signals in the mirrors of the other exc she was looking at that had the TT mirrors.
Can anyone shed some light on this please? I wanted to be able to answer her conclusively as we both love the signal mirrors (as well as the roof lights to be honest).
Thanks

Don't hold me to this but I *think* the Excursion didn't get the signal TT mirrors until the 2004 models (just now showing up at a dealer near you.)

No turn signals in '03 X's.

It is new for the X in '04.

Turn signals was a running change for SD in '03. SD's didn't start having them until about January '03.

03 ---> 04

Along the same lines, if you have an 03, would it be possible (easy) to replace the mirrors with the 04 turn signal type? I wonder if the wiring is already there.

Re: 03 ---> 04

I think that some SD guys did that. You might want to check the July '03 archives section for that discussion.

Some pictures too, if I remember correctly.
