I changed the rear window struts today, AAHHH no more hitting my head.If you have a 4X4 you want the 2X4 struts to raise the deck lid higher.Ford # YC3Z-78406A10-AA you need two of coarse.About $50 for the pair,+- $10 depends on who ya know. The 2X4 struts will raise the lid about 4 in. higher when open so check for garage door clearance before opening. As if I can get mine in the garage
Getting an extra hand when changing them helps too.

What about a set of good old platform shoes so you can reach the dang handle now!
The F350 blocks and new 285's eliminated the having to purchase the 4x2 lift struts

Well to make a long story short I was becoming more wary of the 14,000 mile Firerocks so I upgraded to 285 TKO's and the stock rear springs were resting to the point of front to rear was about level so I had SDHQ install a set of F350 blocks during our vacation last August while out west for two weeks. I was going to purchase the 4x2 lift back struts prior to the trip tho
