Re: Door ajar and interior lights stay on

Start with a healthy dose of WD-40 in all the door locking mechanisms, including the rear hatches. Lube 'em up, and then open and close several times to work it in.

Re: Door ajar and interior lights stay on

Probably a switch on one of the doors, it's common. A litle shot of WD40 on each one should do the trick.

Doens't the light go out after X amount of time? I know mine does after a few minutes.

Re: Door ajar and interior lights stay on

The light eventually goes off when driving but when just sitting in the driveway the light stays on.

Re: Door ajar and interior lights stay on

The lights will go out above a predetermined MPH reading, but they should also darken after 5 to 15 minutes of just sitting (engine shutdown) ... even with all the doors open. I'm wondering if it truly is a door-ajar switch in this circumstance. Let us hear how the dowsing of WD40 works for ya'.
