Dual Steering Stabilizer?

I have the Rancho steering stabilizer and after 20K mi I think I am starting to get signals from the steering wheel that the stabilizer is getting soft. It is wandering a little more on bumpy roads and jerking the wheel more.

Is 20K too soon to think it is the SS?

Would dual stabilizers be too much? Anybody running duals?

Re: Dual Steering Stabilizer?

I have the Skyjacker dual kit on mine.I can't compare it to the Rancho or anything else other than the stock one 'cause this is what I put on at 4,000 miles.
Pro's:
1.)Cut down on most of the front wheel shudder
2.)Very heavy duty mounting bracket
3.)Looks Cool
Cons:
1.) Low ground clearance
2.) Had to cut stock mounting bracket on passenger side to mount
3.) Cost= $108 plus 7.95 shipping (Summit Racing)

Re: Dual Steering Stabilizer?

I also have the Skyjacker dual system on my truck and it made a HUGE difference. If your truck wanders around, I think that the dual set up is a worth while investment. Just my $.02.

Have the dual system on mine. Wife agreed it made a huge difference while highway driving.
