durability of the excursion

I'm trying to do some research on the durability of the powerstroke. What's your biggest repair so far and how many miles were on the vehicle?

Thanks for your feedback...

Re: durability of the excursion

I have 105K, and although I have modified the engine, I've had no problems with it. I had a problem with the alternator, but I don't consider that an engine issue.

Re: durability of the excursion

Oil leak from front cover and oil pan at 7k, 3 fixes so far, still leaks a little - but I get a free oil change with each fix . Rear end whine, r&p replaced at 20k - whine is still there!
CPS throwing codes, replaced by dealer.

Nothing major, just trying to get the niggly stuff handled before 36k comes.

Re: durability of the excursion

No repairs except to put the trailer plug-in bracket back on after it fell off at about 5k.I've got nearly 36k on it, so my bumper to bumper warranty is about done.

RR power window motor out (not going to replace until LR craps out)

Re: durability of the excursion

What are you doing that is overloading the tranny? I think you said you are towing a boat the size of mine....
