DVD player to aftermarket radio

Has anyone installed a double din radio in their Ex and hooked up the rear dvd to the aftermarket radio.I bought a harness from best buy that supposedly adapted to the factory wiring, but after getting the factory radio out and seeing the plug I find out it doesn't fit.So has anyone got this to work in their Ex's or am I SOL?

I did the same swap a few months back. I just hooked up a switch to power on the rear dvd player. It doesn't play the dvd sound through the speakers but that's ok for me. Look up on youtube and a guy has a video of what to do. And yes that connector they sold you is wrong.

I finally found the right connector but it was pinned wrong,I swapped around the pins and cut up a a pair of Rca wires and everything worked like it should .I just wired the Dvd player to the amp remote turn on .
