I want to go to 35's and not sure if I can get them in with a 3" lift or will need to go to a 4.5". I don't mind a little triming if required. Whats werd is that Edge says that the 4.5" lift will ride better than the 3" [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif[/img]. Any one have a 3 or 4.5" Edge kit care to comment.
On rims, will 10" wide rims fit with out hitting the inside body pannel, the one in the rear well area? I was thinking of 17x10's with 35x12.5 Procomps At's, just put some on my 95 and loveum. Only problem is the # rateing only 3K lbs.

You will make it with 3" with some shimming of you front bumper, See my post 315's today.
I have the V codes springs and the Edge Mini Spring pack which would give me about 3 1/4 or so and It just clears. If it were me I would go with the 4.5 with out question!!!
I can not tell you about the rim for the rear, I am running 16x8 and they clear by allot
I raised my 4x4 X 3.5" using spring modifications. I installed 295's which are about 33" tall. During four wheeling I get a rub on tight left hand turns.
I would have rather have gone with a 4-6" lift but the truck wouldn't have fit in the garage.
I am leaning towards the Edge 4.5" for my X and was getting ready to post a similar question asking about the Edge 4.5" vs. the Edge 5".
I have heard plenty of positives for the 4.5" but nothing on the 5". Anyone running the Edge 5" lift on their X?

I'm running 315's w/ 17x9 rims. with the 3"Edge kit a slight rub on real tight right hand turn on the plastic wheel well lining. Easy fix if I would just get off my rear and do it or I guess I will eventually rub the plastic away. Definitly nothing to worry about in the rear.
