EURO lights!

What don't I do for you guys...
Got the digital camera today, charged for 90 minutes and ran down to take some pictures.
Edited (one of) my homepage(s) and posted the pictures to http://sites.netscape.net/bjornar

The pictures were taken in the parking garage with little light. I'll wash the rig and make new pictures over the weekend.
The rear lights have little 3W bulbs in the top portion, and orange blinker lights in the bottom transparent section. The blinkers have been separated from the brake light circuit (really simple).

I'm sitting here with the original US headlamps and notice there is a moulded-in plug on the upper inside portion of the reflector, about 1/2 inch thick. There is a plug in it that can be removed. I guess I'll add 3w parking light bulb assemblies in these holes and mount the original lights back on. Now I just have to figure out which lead is low and which is high beam on the orginal (cut) wire assembly.

bjornar

the high beam wire color is LG/BK this is for both sides. the left low is DB/W and the right side is DG/O. these colors are from behind the light under the hood.

I've read several of your postings here on the board, and am impressed that these products find there way around the world....The question to you is this????....What type of fuel do you burn in your Power Stroke??????
Here in the US. we are ENCOURAGED by the government to use the fuel of recommendation..."Diesel"..."BUT", prior to that, the other fuel was, "Farm Fuel",,,,with a few using #2 fuel oil.....
Admittedly, the "others" have higher sulfur content, but corespondingly they also have lower prices......What does your country use for it's fuel of choice???????And, infact what do you use???????

Re: EURO lights!

Today, I run ordinary diesel (winterized by the supplier to -32 celcius). We have "farm fuel" for off-road/non-licensed equipment at about 20% of the cost of ordinary diesel. Untaxed fuel is the same as ordinary diesel, but with green dye.
We also have "boat diesel" (I'm into fishing) but that is more like #2 and doesn't do well in modern engines, but OK for older trucks/cars.
I will probably convert and follow the green wave soon...
