Ok so how many of you have had the EBPV removed on your EX when you did the exhaust? i have had the SES light on ever since because of the 475 code and its driving me nuts...I understand (I think) correctly that the EBPV and the exhaust pressure sensor are tied together right? i have the eliminator for the pressure switch but not the EBPV. do I have to have both? My F350 was gutted and I have never seen the SES light ever on that truck...Help!

I'm not sure I follow. I had my exhaust done and nothing but the exhaust was touched and I've never had any CEL or DTC related to it.
The EGR and EBP were replaced last December but that's it.

Try the SP Diesel EBS eliminator. $30 and your problem is solved. Installs in 5 minutes. I've had good luck with mine. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

If the EBPV is the butterfly valve just before the down pipe, yes mine was removed when the Banks Power Elbow was installed. No issues, warning lights, etc.
I do miss the wooshing sound from our X as it was warming up but that's about it.

I got the eliminator already...but does the connector at the EBPV need one also? this is what I am trying to determine and to see if it is an
"Excursion" thing....any guesses????
