Excellent in the snow

I am still amazed every time I get the Ex in the snow as how good it is. I have a 2WD and am amazed at how good it goes. Also it's a very willing 'hook slider'. Very controllable rear end slides under power!

Just how well is the 4WD in the snow? I can't imagine how good it would be.

With the Revo's pretty much unstopable

Of the 217,000 miles on this truck I bet 2/3rds are trips from Holland, MI to Grand Marais, MI....372 miles all in snow, sleet and freezing rain, with 285 Coopers I can't get this truck to move on the Hwy. I have been in 7"s of snow going 70 with the cruise on, I blew by a cop going 30 and dusted him like a desert storm, he looked over at me as I passed and never even tried to stop me. I did have one time at about 60, passing another slow poke and the rear broke free, I was in 2wd and I swear the truck was sideways in the hwy....I let up, steered like crazy and it came back....in the same lane with a car next to me.....it was a little scarry but I pulled it off. I truly believe that if you get a chance take your truck to a vacant lot and just spin until yout dizzy, its the only way to know what the truck will do in a situation and it teaches you how to steer out of it. I do it all the time and it has paid off many times. Many times I load split wood from the front seats to the back and to the ceiling....the weight glues me to the road and nothing will move me. One time my sled got stuck in a slush puddle and I had to drive the X down a trail in 14"s of snow to pull it out, with all the wood it just pushed tru the snow, often over the hood, and I got to it before it froze in.
