Excursion 'Bodyside Cladding'

Have any of you Excursion owners pulled the lower 'Bodyside Cladding' off of you 'Big X', for perhaps a cleaner look? I am thinking about adding the X's lower cladding to my '02 F-250 CrewCab SB, to look different that the multitude of other F-250s around town.
Yup... not a direct replacement aft of the 2nd set of doors, but do-able I think. I'd prefer the 'Arizona Beige' that comes on the Limited, but the 'Platinum' that comes on the XLTs would also be fine. I would like the color matched running boards if those were pulled also. Plase let me know what you would like for them ($$$).
Thanks in advance,
Mark Peterson

Re: Excursion 'Bodyside Cladding'

I've seen it done but I believe there was an issue with the rear fenders. I think you need to run an aftermarket flair and mold it into the cladding from what I remember due to a difference in the size of the wheelwells. It was very well done and looked unique. Good luck.

Re: Excursion 'Bodyside Cladding'

Thank!
I was assuming that the wheel well openings were the same in the rear, so that is a good 'heads-up'. I have a friend with an Excursion, so I'll check that out. Although if he knows I'm looking for cladding, he might get worried :^)
He is already worried that I've been measuring his fuel tank, (sure like those 44 gallon tanks).
