Excursion gauge cluster questions

Does anyone know if the guage cluster that houses the tach, speedo, fuel, etc. is the same one they put in F150,250,350, Explorer, Expedition?

I'm putting a PSD out of a Excursion in my F350. That means all the electrical guts go too! So, I'm basically putting in the dash eletronics/gauge cluster.

While it is sitting out of my truck, I would like to change the guage faces from black to white (then indiglo at night). Does anyone know if the Excursion has its own unique dash?

Thanks

Re: Excursion gauge cluster questions

Hey pirate I would bet you a dollar to a donut that they are the same. When I had the wood grain added the order numbers were the same and I had 99PSD F250 and the dashes sure looked identical.
You might call a dealers service department and ask them to be sure.

Take care,

Re: Excursion gauge cluster questions

Pirate,

As best I can tell between my X and CC, the dash and instrument cluster are the same. The dash plastic color appears a little different and the X has sound proofing panels on the bottom of the dash and behind as well. I believe the basic dash structure is identical and should fit fine.

Interesting project. Good luck.
