Is this Excursion a good deal?

Hello,

I found today what I think is a good deal. What do you think?

2000 PSD Excursion Lariet 4x4 67,000 miles, clean, with no apparent damage. $24,000. A quick search on the net found alot higher prices than this.

I don't have a PSD, but I'm thinking of upgrading from my 95 Suburban.

How 'bout that price?

Thanks,

David

If it were clean, as it title & condition, I'd buy it without a second thought.

Be sure to really check it out though!

Re: Is this Excursion a good deal?

I wasn't aware of a Excursion in the Lariat trim level. Does it have Lariat badging? If so, that seems kinda strange....

Maybe someone else can back me up on this one...

Re: Is this Excursion a good deal?

Don't know where you are but there's a two-tone (blue or black over tan) Excursion 2000 4 x 4 Limited for sale near me.(Goshen NY) I'll give em a ring just for laughs to see what they want.

By the way you meant Limited right? In the Excursion the Limited=Lariat in the Superduty right?

Re: Is this Excursion a good deal?

Looks like a pretty good deal. One good idea if the dealer will let you do it is to get an oil sample to send off to Blackstone for analysis. Might tell you some stuff you'd like to know.

Re: Is this Excursion a good deal?

If it is still available..BUY IT NOW..It wont last long. That is a helluva price (if clean). I just got through 2 months of searching for one for a decent price. I ended up with the same X you are looking at. I paid $25,900, which was a damn good deal (since mine had about $3000 in aftermarket extras). Most of the ones (2000 limited, 4x4,PSD) I have seen on Trader Online and Ebay with over 50k miles have been going for 27,000 - 30,000. I bought mine in San Antonio (I live in Austin) through EBAY. I did the "buy it now" (after talking with the dealer) for $25,900 since it was such a good price.
