Excursion PSD Mileage - Diesel Forum

What type of mileage are ya'll getting in your PSD Excursion? My father is thinking about one 4x2 BTW and I was wondering how good of mileage he could expect. Thanks

Paul....I've got 1200 miles on my Excursion PSD 4X4 and have averaged 16.8 with mostly stop and go type driving. Only had one short trip of 415 miles where I averaged 20.8 on realitively flat terrain.

I have a 4WD and in 4WD I get about 13.9, around town I get 16.5 and on the highway w/ cruise control on I get about 20.8. I have about 1200 miles on my PSD.

16.5 around town, 20+ on highway, 19.7 at 75mph on interstate.

I have 2600 miles and have ranged from 13.2 (pulling 2 atv's ~ 2400lbs w/trailer)to 15.6 mpg. Sure hope I see some better mpg's soon. I'll be picking up my boat (3,500 lbs w/trailer)in Seabrook to take to Port O'Connor next week. Guess I'll see what happens then.
