Re: Excursion seats

I have a custom-made flip-seat waiting at the dealer (I think). Need to change out the compartment deal between the seats. Not the exact same as the Fs.

Re: Excursion seats

I've searched this issue exhaustively and the answer is: No.

You can't get a bench seat with the limited. You can get the bench seat in an XLT but it is only available in cloth. Why the geniuses at Ford decided that you can get a leather bench in a pickup but not in a "luxury suv" is beyond me. I guess they want the public to buy the more expensive comfort and convienence package so they can make even more money off of us.

Re: Excursion seats

OK Racing Fans---took the plunge today, and traded my F-250 Crewcab PSD, for a '00 PSD Excursion Ltd---first reaction---now, more than ever, I couldn't wait to get to the computer to challenge my new, inventive, creative friends on this web-site to help me do the impossible----I REALLY WANT THE 40/20/40 BENCH SEAT, AND DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO, CONSIDERING THAT THE LTD HAS THE HVAC VENTS, AND REAR ENTERTAINMENT CONTROLS IN THE CONSOLE BETWEEN THE HEATED BUCKET SEATS!! C'mon, guys---I've seen miraculous input on this web-site---what can you guys suggest.

thanks,
aces

Re: Excursion seats

Aces,

Leave sleeping dogs lie. You will come to appreciate the comfort of your X over time. Everytime I get in my wife's X I am reminded that the pickup is the working man's truck. That is why she is driving the X and I am driving the 350.

Re: Excursion seats

Aces:
Try a conversion van manufacturer that does lots of Fords like Bivouac, MarkIII, Explorer, Starcraft, etc. They can help you convert to a bench seat without too much difficulty. I can't predict the cost, but they can do it. God Bless!
