My Excursion is on EBAY and in the for sale section of this site. I can't seem to sale it. High retail is 23850 with the miles. It is in extremely good conditon compared to the others on ebay or I have seen no kids ever in this Excursion so interior is flawless exterior is in very good conditon with some minor scratches.
My question is why won't it sale and any help in selling this would be appreciated. Ideas opinions help advise etc.

Nice Ex, looks pretty clean to me. I don't see that the mods are a problem unless of course some is looking for a stock Ex. Good luck, I'm sure it will sell it looks like it's been taken care of.

I think the Excursion is even more of a niche' vehicle now. If a real Excursion buyer will see or hear of it, it'll sell. It may just take a while. As much as I hate to say it, I wonder if the fuel prices have any effect on sales. I still have both of mine but MAN the prices $*k. My wife would not give up the X for anything. I took it today and left her my truck. She agreed but...
When buying mine your wasn't available yet but I would have seriously considered it.
I ended up getting a GREAT deal on my 03 w/ 7.3 and 59K miles-single owner. No mods of course, but I get to do that on my own.
To be honest when shopping I was a little turned off by the trucks with mods. I know its all the same but if someone has done a bunch of stuff to their truck they have done those things to get better mileage and increased driveablitity/towability or done it to be able to drive the living dog shi$ out of the thing.
I have a friend here in town who couldn't lay out of his chipped -02 bought it new. 2 transmissions in 60K, No gauges, and towed his boat with it with the pedal to the floor without a concern in the world. If it broke he would fix but ended up selling it to another friend (truck seems to be great thus far) but seeing that made me a little skeptical of buying someone elses hot rod.
Is it on Auto trader? Cars.com?
I have had really good luck with auto trader in the past.

I agree when I sold my 02 I listed the UpGrades not the Mods (SCMT)
I listed them as Upgrades saying they were what it should have been from the factory. I had 3 or 4 cash back up offers after the guy made his deposit.
The guy who bought the truck also paid me for the SCMT! after the deal was done. I had the Towing mode install in it most of the time, i was just up front with the guy and it was not a problem since he was buying it specifically to tow and it was ready set with all the UpGrades DONE!

With fuel prices closing in at $4.00 a gallon where I live, SF Bay Area, chipped or not, I feel only the people who really want an X would be interested. I find most people don't do the research about an X and just believe the negative propaganda.
Diesel is actually cheaper than the other three fuels right now where we live by almost $1.00 but the uneducated only see $4.00 a gallon. It's only after they are educated by an X owner about all the possibilities that they believe!!

Thats a coincidence---I was looking at your truck in ebay a few days ago. Just saw this thread. My wife wants a diesel X . I think the reason is worrying about the mods and if they have strained the trans,etc.

They seem to be a pretty hot comody down here in the south. Maybe it is the mods. Take them off and list it again. Also you might want to try cars.com. We sold our tahoe in 2 weeks!

Try advertising it in the Phoenix, AZ Autotrader. The local dealers here call me regularly to ask if I want to sell our Ex. Or call Bell Ford down here.
I may try the autotrader idea down in AZ. But with a 801 # people might get confused I will drive down there no problem for delivery but if someone calls up and ask to test drive that would be different.
The mods or upgrades are minimal it has stock size tires and I have only pulled 4 times in the 16000 miles I have owned it. If I was to take them off and list it that would be lying and I don't want to do that.
The down pipe and intake keep the turbo cooler, shift kit pro longs tanny life and chip gets better gas mileage. All mods pro's to me I guess not my luck I wathced a 2000 same color as mine with lift tires bigger turbo all modded up and it sold for I think $26000.00 2 weeks ago.
