RECIEVED THE WOOD DASH TODAY FROM INFINITY. THE FACTORY MATCH IS EXCELLENT. ALSO GOT THE FOUR PIECES FOR THE DOORS. INSTALATION WAS SIMPLE AND TOOK ABOUT 1/2 HOUR FOR ALL FIVE PIECES.
NOW IF 4" STAINLESS EXHAUST, GAUGES, AND HYPERMAX CHIP WOULD GET HERE, THE FUN COULD CONTINUE.

I just checked out Infinity's web site and the stuff looks pretty nice. Is the wood a close match to the existing trim in your Limited? Hope you can post some pictures after you have it installed.

Ir looks like they have 3 different kinds. Did you get the real wood kit or the molded kit (veneer on ABS). Also what wood type did you get. Judging by the little pictures it seems the rose is the one (don't pick my new baby up until Friday). Looks like they are about $300. Did you consider the steering wheel trim also?

If you do a search in Yahoo for +infinity +wood +dash you'll find the web page. The actual Infinity web page just has some pictures and descriptions, the first one that comes up (don't remember the name or URL) looks like a distributor that has the pictures as well as pricing and applications. These things do look nice. I sure would like to see on "live".

What model of trim did you get that is the exact match. There are usually several selections like:
Rosewood, walnut, etc.
Which one do I get to match the existing???
I have been contemplating getting trim for mine since October. This post has made my decision to go ahead and buy trim, AND to get the Infinity.

I got your E-Mail, asking about the Infinity dash kit.Infinity did send me a new dash kit without a problem.The match is very close, the fit is better with the new kit they sent.I think the 5 piece kit cost me $250.
The LTD should come with a wood grain dash from the factory to match what they use on the door panels.The quality of the after market piece is not the same as what is on the door insert.The kit will ad a nice touch to your Excursion.

No one is happier than me. I ordered the entire line available from www.autodash.com for my Excursion XLT and I could not be more pleased. The quality of all 35 pieces I got was nothing less than outstanding. The molded kit (17-piece) was very thin, skin-like.
Unfortunately, they no longer sale the molded dash trim, but you may not need that since you already have the Limited. They now only sale the support pieces.
