F/E Popping Fixed, New Cup Holder, Cackle parts on order

The front end popping is now gone. New cup holder is installed. Parts are on order to fix the cackle problem. Why it has/will take three service visits and a total of 9 days to fix the above issues is beyond me. If service is slow do dealers make money on each visit? I cannot think of any other reason why I have been put through the ringer. Just this service visit it was in for three days (went in Monday) for the third cackle review (main issue) and they refused to look at much less order the parts required for the cackle TSB until yesterday. Then they call and tell me to pick it up while they wait for parts to come in. This will make my third, no forth, visit for the cackle TSB and mine you can hear literally across town.

Re: F/E Popping Fixed, New Cup Holder, Cackle parts on order

i had to wait 2 days for a spark plug coil for my navigator, i tried 3 lincoln dealers, the 3rd ford dealer had the part coming the next day. you would think that they would have something like that on the shelf. the dealer had the truck 2-1/2 weeks before they replaced the transmission when that went.
i found out then, why it takes so many trips to fix these things. (not including the trips for the wrong diagnosis)

good luck!!
