F350 (snow plow package) X-Springs and Rear Blocks

I have had my new to me Excursion since March. I bought it to pull my jeep around and for the convenience of being able to camp within the back of it. It is 2002 7.3L and I picked it up with only 75,000 miles on it.

Like most mine was riding on the front bump stops so I started looking for a solution and through this site I found the remedy. I got the F350 X-springs and blocks. This is definitely how these trucks should have left the assembly line.

You are sooo right about (this is how they should have come) Did same thing 6 years ago. I only added 60k miles sense then but it still looks level. I'm not sure if they have sagged any but front wheel well sits 40" dead center of hub and rear is 41" with 285x75x16 . What is your ride height with virgin springs ?? NICE RIG"S and GREAT POST !!!

39.50 Front
40.50 Rear

with 265/75r16s

Going to try to squeeze some 285/75r17 Toyo MTs on some 17x8 ATX Mojave Teflons under it.

Those are on the to do list along with some new front bump stops.

For the bilsteins are these the part numbers I should go with:
Front F4-BE5-2818-HO
Rear F4-BE5-6209-HO

Might need to get yourself about a 4 inch lift for those set of wheels.

Thats great, it doesn't look like my springs sagged at all over the years sense the differance between our two tire sizes would be 1/2" in truck height I'd really like to see pic's when you get them .It shouldn't be a problem if you got same backspacing on new wheels as stock. Might have to trim plastic spoiler a little. Might be a little more work getting those tires on that blue truck in the picture though.

Really? Figured since most fit 285/75r16 (~33) on stock springs that with the X springs up front (at least +2.5") I should be able to fit a 1" diameter bigger tire (285/75r17 = ~34) without much problem. Plan to run them on 17x8s with 4.5 BS. I don't mind trimming the plastic valance or massaging/trimming the plastic fender liner. I appreciate any help before I spend the cash so if my logic is incorrect please let me know.

Anyone else have inputs?

Yeah I found that pic online while searching for tires. Not sure what all that blue f150 had to do to get those to fit. Can't find pics of them installed on the truck but his plan was for BDS 2 1/2" leveling kit along with their 1" rear block kit?

I am hoping that by not going wider than 285s and sticking with 8" wide wheels that I will minimize some of the clearance issues?

Sorry just realized the truck in the pic with the tire is not the same truck from the other pics of your truck, you should be fine with 285's

I got mine from dealer but can't remember how much $$, I got mine 6yrs. ago. The springs are heavy so I wouldn't even try to buy them online or anything like that. Shipping would be EXPENSIVE !!
