Does anyone have any pics or know of pics I can view of the Ford Factory DVD video system for the X? Or can anyone describe what it looks like and features? thanks.

Re: Factory Rear Seat Entertainment System

There are some pics in the showroom section @ F**D.com, I believe they are under the comfort section. The DVD player is mounted on the roof liner behind the passanger front seat. The A/C controls have been shifted over to behind the driver, leaving the center clear for the monitor.

Re: Factory Rear Seat Entertainment System

Thanks I found it. Would have never thought to look there.

Does anyone know if this factory dvd system's harness will plug into my 00 X premium stereo (I have the top of the line 00 factory stereo that controls 6 disk factory changer)?

Re: Factory Rear Seat Entertainment System

I can not answer your question directly, however, I have the factory add on TV/VCR system. That system use the FM channel to send the signal to the radio. No direct connection to the radio that I know. By the way, the system works great.

Hope this helps,

Re: Factory Rear Seat Entertainment System

Anybody know if the DVD player is capable of playing cd-r, dvd-r, mp3 formats. Most of the newer home dvd players are capable of this but wanted to know if the Delphi DVD player would. No info on the Delphi site.
