Send Greg Evans an EMAIL yesterday to determine if his FTVB will help increase the firmness of the shifts in an 02 7.3PSD 4X4. There was alot of discusion on his products in the 7.3L upgrades. I wanted to install his body kit since I'm in the process of changing the factory fluids in my trany. His systems sounds like a no brainer.
I sent Greg Evans a P.M. and didn't hear back made a post about him not getting back, he didn't get back. I don't think he gives a ---- about me or my tranny problems. It was a simple question too
Oh Well

I received a reply from Greg Evans, Sunday PM. He said the Lightning model 2C will work just fine and Bob Riley at www.dieselsite.com sell them but they are not on his webbsite yet. Spoke to Bob a few minutes ago and have one on the way. He is also running a special to the end of the month. Will let you know how it works!
Are you guys aware of Grag from f150Online or somewhere else?
Mike Troyer at Troyer Performance sells them too. They are not on his site either.
A couple years ago when I ended up installing a Transgo kit, Greg told me the one he builds for the "L" is also the same as he uses for diesels. It was a bit much for a Expy by some peoples accounts but I understand Greg may have branched out and has more options, or at least provides some extra parts to "soften" it up if it's too much.

Received my FTVB on Wednesday AM from Bob. The unit was called a 2 C Accumulator. Installed the unit on Sunday along with changing the ATF and filter. All went extremely well, as I took my time and very easy to install.
The shifting is now much firmer but not harsh. The X now shifts more like my wife's RAMAIR, but the X is alittle firmer.
I did a couple of quick accelerations from a dead stop and it shifts great. Now I need to start buying some power mode upgrades. If the weather warms up I will see how it works pulling the boat.
congratulations. I added the FTVB during the summer after having some problems with the sonnax/tricumulator upgrade, and have really appreciated it. You'll appreciate the firm shifts under towing load, too.
